Born in the 1960’s to a mining family, Travis had his first taste of performing at the age of six, singing in the school choir. At 9 years old, he wrote a play called “Cowboy Sam” for which he won the school Eisteddfod. Guitar, violin and piano lessons quickly followed. Travis had began to realise that he had a love for music, playing the guitar, and a passion for country music.

Country music played a large part in his growing up, his father being a huge fan and from an early age Travis knew that country was to be his kind of music, music he wanted to perform and compose. This was to be the music that he has successfully recorded and performed for the last 25 years having played over 3000 live shows, recorded countless albums, toured the world and been an in demand session musician.

Throughout the last twenty-five years Travis has used any down time that he has had to compose his own original songs and lyrics that display both honesty and integrity, lyrics that have a down to earth approach in their content, lyrics that were and still are the backbone of pure country music, all delivered in his signature smooth baritone. The people who attend his shows all conclude that this guy is Country, how country was, when Country was Country!
